Chinese Zodiac Years Chart from 1948 to 2031
The Chinese zodiac features 12 awesome animals that take turns ruling each year. Every lunar year in China gets its own animal mascot! But here’s the thing—these zodiac years don’t kick off on January 1st like our regular calendar. They start with Chinese New Year, which jumps around between January and February.
Check out the chart below to find exactly when each animal year begins and ends. This is super helpful if you were born in January or February and aren’t sure which animal represents you. (Trust me, lots of people get this wrong!)
